Bringing together beautiful imagery is one thing. Turning it into an experience-led destination platform is another. For Visit West Macedonia, we set out to create more than a visually engaging tourism website. We designed a digital platform that translates the diversity of the region into an intuitive journey of discovery.
The digital experience of the newly-launched website embodies immersive storytelling, as well as a clear and flexible content structure, allowing travellers to explore West Macedonia through destinations, seasons, activities, gastronomy and experiences.
Rather than simply showcasing the region, the platform gives each destination and experience its own space to be immersed into. From discovering new places and upcoming events to building a personalized journey through the Travel Planner feature, every interaction is designed to move users naturally from inspiration to exploration.
A scalable content ecosystem around destinations, activities, seasonal trips, and thematic experiences allows individual pages to function as organic entry points, while strengthening the overall search presence. Visit West Macedonia functions as a state-of-the-art destination platform, in a seamless path from initial discovery to endless inspiration.
